DJ Equipment Rental in Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa, on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, has a strong electronic music culture: sunset sessions, beach parties, boutique hotel events and retreats with music in the evening. Visiting and resident DJs often travel light and need gear on site. Speaker Hire Costa Rica rents DJ equipment and speakers for those events. We are an equipment rental company only; we do not supply DJs.
What people rent in Santa Teresa
- Sunset session or small beach-side gathering: XDJ-RX3 (USD 300/night) and two ZLX12 powered speakers (USD 50/night each). USB in, no laptop needed.
- Bigger party with bass: add the QLC 18-inch subwoofer (USD 75/night) and step up to ZLX15 tops (USD 75/night each).
- Touring or guest DJ: Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2 (USD 450/night), the club-standard player. Send us the rider so we can confirm the booth.
- Retreat or yoga-and-music evening: a DDJ-FLX6 controller (USD 150/night) and a pair of ZLX12 speakers covers background music and a relaxed set.
Delivery to Santa Teresa
We deliver anywhere in Costa Rica, and Santa Teresa is a longer trip from our Playa Grande base than towns in northern Guanacaste. Delivery is priced by distance from Playa Grande, so message us with your venue and dates early and we confirm the fee before you book. Multi-night rentals are common here because events and retreats often run over several days; rates are per night.
Looking after gear by the beach
Sand, humidity and sudden rain are the main risks in Santa Teresa. Keep equipment under a roof or canopy, off the sand and away from water, and pack it away if rain comes in. Ask us before running the system on a generator.

How to book
Pick your gear in the shop or message us on WhatsApp (+506 6206 6688). Book with a 50% non-refundable payment; the other 50% is due on delivery or pickup. A refundable deposit (USD 500 under USD 1,000, USD 1,000 from USD 1,000) is collected at handoff. All rates are per night and exclude VAT.
